RAMS-OFFICE
RAMS-Office is the new central software product of IZP Dresden for the solution of various RAMS/LCC-related issues. RAMS-Office offers multiple options for the analysis, forecast and optimisation of reliability, availability and safety of technical products and processes. It also covers the assessment and optimisation of maintenance and life cycle costs.
RAMS-OFFICE is available for all windows-versions; its use is not limited to a specific industry. Its flexible design makes it easy to fit your needs. RAMS-Office is based on the experience and fundamental concept of the system MathOffice, which has been in use for more than 15 years.
Features:
- Flexible interface-tool for linking any SQL-compatible standard database systems (Microsoft-Access, Microsoft-SQL-Server, ORACLE...)
- Basic tool for the capture of RAMS/LCC-relevant data
- Various modules for data analysis which can be configured randomly: SQL-explorer, data-modelling, hitlist generation, analysis of weaknesses, data-warehouse-technology (OLAP)
- Open data exchange with other systems of IZP Dresden and with FMEA/FTA-standard products such as IQ-FMEA by APIS and FaultTree+ by isograph
- Parameter library for the systematic storage of results
- Generation of reports and graphic presentation of results which can be either standardised or individually designed
- Processing of various types of censorship of samples (complete, right, left, double, incomplete) and anomaly test
- Comprehensive analysis options (numerous parametrical and non-parametrical distribution functions, number of parameters, estimation procedures, adaptation tests, confidence intervals, trial plan, sample comparison etc.)
- Individual definition of analysis options or automatic selection of "best options" by the program
- Probability paper (Weibull-net) for multiple samples with indication of confidence intervals
- Support with the forecasting of reliability (analogous modelling)
- Analysis of remaining operating life
- Calculation of parameters of time recurrence and availability (momentary availability, job availability and permanent availability)
- Calculation of renewal functions, spare part numbers and related parameters
- Calculation of parameters for age-related and block maintenance, operating costs, optimal replacement time (OPEZ), LCC
- Comparison, selection and linking of maintenance strategies (putting individual measures together in a package, time planning, interval optimisation)
- Analysis of time dependence of performance parameters (drift models and cost functions)
